Our Message

The purpose of this Association is to preserve and protect the natural character, enhance the water quality, and promote responsible use of the lakes for the benefit of all.

We are an advisory group of volunteers for McGrath Pond and Salmon Lake (aka Ellis Pond) in the Belgrade Lakes Region of beautiful central Maine. The McGrath Pond – Salmon Lake Association (MPSLA) is a resource for lake dwellers and lake lovers. All support goes directly to land and water preservation activities.

The McGrath Pond – Salmon Lake Association is open to anyone who is concerned about preserving the beauty and protecting the natural environment of our ponds. Our goal is to maintain a lake that is clean and safe for swimming, boating, skiing, fishing, and to preserve it for today and for future generations. Together we can make a difference!
